Just follow that wiring diagram to the T.But you could have other wiring wrong. Try just one sub but set the gain low.

Wire one sub parallel 2ohm turn the gain down to start and see if its louder.

I dont have anything to compare to as my subs arnt even getting power

Then the problem is between the hu and the amp.

could this be caused by a bad ground possibly? My amp light turns on showing it has power but i wanted to ask anyhow

Hook a ipod direct to your amp with the proper adapter.

you can buy one at walmart. the plugin to 2 rca's to plug direct into the amp instead of your rca cables.

I have a question... i had to buyban adapter to install my hu the gmrc01

Theres a wire on there called amp turn on. Now am i supossed to use that since my hu already comes with a remote wire

As long as the amp turns on dont worry about them.

It will alow you to bypass the hu and hook direct to amp. best buy, walmart, target
