I am going to install a sub/amp in a 2000 Accord EX this weekend. Has the factory CD player in it.

Does anyone know if that will have a power turn on/powered antenna output to switch the amp on/off? I don't want to wire a switch or run it off ignition... Also, no PAC TRUNK-LOC or anything like that in the build, amp has high level inputs, and that is all it will get...

Any help would be appreciated guys...

I do not believe it has either a power antenna or an amplifier turn on wires.

I was hoping that wasn't the case...

On factories it most likely is the case. It sucks.

Tap into the "white/red" wire on the back of the factory unit, it's the switched 12v+ for the unit.

I have this car, since it has the antenna in the back window there is none for the antenna, and I know on my buddys older accord the antenna would only come on when you hit radio. But like stefanhinote said, just tap into the wire he stated, or just run a switch, and also, wiring to ignition is really EASY on our cars. I have my LED halos wired to ignition.
