Hi guys. I have a DC Audio XL 12 on the way and would like suggestions on the enclosure. Its only gonna get 500 watts. I'm thinking a t-line will help me get pretty loud with the limited power. Max dimensions are 38w 32h 32d. It will be in my blazer cargo area. Thanks in advance and if you need any other info just ask.

The transmission line would have to be approx 9.5ft long in order to play down to 30hz. The line would have to be folded, which also creates resonance issues. Polyfill can help break up the nodes.

The area of the transmission line should be more then the Sd of the driver. If you did a tapered line, the efficiency will likely decrease.

If I were you, I would use a ported enclosure.
