Got a 34/78 under the hood and a 9a31 in the trunk.. Do the batteries have to be unhooked for charging?

I would say no.Why do they need to be charged?

I ws told to trickle charge em once a week, I dunno. Is thta incorrect?

I have two large agm batteries in the back and I use a tender to keep them charged when I am not running my truck. Yes you should charge your batteries as a form of maintenance.

I never unhooked mine to charge, but I did put the tender pigtail on the battery bank rails.
