Posted March 29, 201213 yr Alright, my car peaks at 55hz. I want to get a box made before the 7th. Just going to keep it simple. Port in the middle and lots of it. I'll be using the D6 12s still since recones are going to take a min. I'm going to keep the same configuration. Subs back port back. So...... What tuning to go with? 50ish or what? I'm at work so I can link specs for the diamonds. But if someone posts them, I'll be very happy. This will only be for burps and a temp box. If you want to throw a design in there, that's great too ;-) This is for a trunk car incase some of you didn't know lol. Edited March 29, 201213 yr by armykyle1

March 29, 201213 yr Author Thank you man. I found them on the sight. But I can't link from mobile since it's a pdf. It's under support, then D6 subwoofer tech sheet. My thread on another forum has some good info. I'll drag sone over tonight. Main I'm not modeling this myself is winsd won't work on my comp all of a sudden. Tried three different versions
March 29, 201213 yr Ive always heard to tune like 3-5hz from your resonant freq, and go from there. Whats your current tune?

March 29, 201213 yr Author why do you wanna match your car freq? Trying to get louder only?Yea, it's only for this show.

March 30, 201213 yr you would probably have to do some testing to figure out what frequency would work best. have your tried modeling different box's to see what frequency the box peaks at given a certain tuning? if you dont have time for testing then this would ball park it for you, i think. just throwing this out there, you could design the the box with multiple ports so you cover some up to lower the tuning (swap daily tuning and competition tuning on the fly).
