Posted May 14, 201213 yr The amp im buying says it takes 4 guage... but its a 1600rms amp. I also have a amp on my door speakers that takes 8 guage but do i run a 1 guage and a distribution? Or do i go bigger and try to cram bigger than 4 in the sub amp?
May 14, 201213 yr You could run a 1/0 cable from battery to a D-block, and then place accordingly. You could run one 1/0 cable from battery, to a 1/0 to 4 gauge reducer, and then run a 8 gauge from battery to your mids/high amp.
