How do you hook up the navigational system in a 2006 Lincoln navigator to an aftermarket radio.......or do I have to buy an adapter...""......'also can u use the factory DVD player with the aftermarket radio..

How do I hook up my jvc double din touch screen radio to the factory navigational system...the jvc is working but I lost steering wheel controls and lost function to the factory navigational system...

If the JVC isn't a nav unit, you are going to lose Navigation functionality. You may be able to use the factory Nav antenna if it's there. The only time I've seen Nav work with a new head unit is when nav was completely separate from the radio. IE like on an Infinity G35.

As for steering wheel controls, you need a steering wheel control interface. PAC audio makes a couple of them. Probably cost you 75 bucks at least.
