Yesterday while I was driving, my amps cut off and today I found out is was my saz1500 causing a short in my remote wire. I pulled it out and looked at the inside and it looks to be some solder in between my remote and ground terminal touching. I've email dbr but I probably won't get a response today because it's Sunday.

I was thinking I could just remove the solder but my question is what would cause this to happen and would it happen again?

If you have a soldering gun, you could attempt to fix it yourself real quick.

Of course if u mess up, u would probably damage the remote lead permanently leading to a repair anyway..

If it were me, i'd try n pull that solder out but if you've never done it before, see if you can find someone who has.
