Posted June 8, 201213 yr Hey guys, just wondering what kind of battery charger/tender do i need to use while playing my stereo in my garage without having to keep the car running? Probably stupid question but dont have any experience with battery chargers.
June 8, 201213 yr It would have to put out the same or better amps the your alternator. How big is your car system?
June 9, 201213 yr Author 2 RF T1500bd-cp 1 JL Audio 360/4 small agm wet cell in back, stock alernator probably 80 amps (v6 gm)
June 9, 201213 yr A battery charger/maintainer will help most only put out 25amps. Make sure its agm compatible.
