After searching for a place to put my tweeters with no luck I've decided some custom fabrication must be done. I've never done anything like this. I plan to have some type of pod in the bottom of the a pillar ontop of the dash for the crescendo ft1 tweeters. What material should I use and how is it done?

Your options are only limited to what your mind can conceive. Something like that looks like some plastic pipe that was cut and somehow secured to the pillar. You could do something as simple as route some wood out as thick and deep as you need, paint or cover it and screw it to the pillar.

I don't want it simple like that, just that location. I put tweeters in PVC before and they looked good but they were small ones. I don't think a 3" pipe would look good on my dash.
