Hey just wondering what you guys would set your subsonic and lowpass filters to. I listen to all types of music and would just like to get some more output on songs other than rap.

Just wondering where i should go i think i am at like 80 on low pass and 35 on subsonic.

Thanks

What kind of enclosure/tuning? What does you front stage consist of?

It is in a 1.3 slot port 32hz box right now. I have a stock nav hu in a trailblazer. I am looking to just get bass out of all songs i feel like it is not hitting as much on rock type songs.

You could bring your subsonic down to like 25-27 and be fine. My box is 7 cubes tuned to 31hz for the xcon 18 and my lowpass is at like 70-80 and subsonic is mid 20's

I would lower the SSF to 28hz, and raise your LP to 100-125.

What are the specs on your box?

Usually 2-3 hz under you box tuning and you may need to readjust after your sub loosens up.

Be careful setting the LPF too high, that is a big thing that can kill your sub (high power with very little excursion means the sub can't cool itself that well. Throw in the slightest bit of clipping and your sub will heat up extremely fast)

100hz lowpass is perfectly fine. No it's not moving as far but it's also moving significantly faster.

Set the SSF somewhere around ~25hz, set the lowpass to where ever you think it sounds best.
