I am looking at two different amps. The sundown 3500 or the crescendo 5500. Both r close and around same price. I hear crescendo is not very good at customer service and theory ratings r rated at 13.8 volts. Sundown on the other hand is known for customer service and umderate their amps, supposingly tested at 12.5 volts. I'm leaning toward the sundown amp and almost commuted to it, but would the crescendo b better especially since they have .05 ohm warranty. What do u guys think?

As of late, I would take Crescendo's CS over Sundown. For what it is worth I debated between the same amps, and I will be getting the Crescendo in the near future.

5500 +1

Both companies have great customer service. Neither one of them is shady.

Both of their support forums are on here and other forum(s).

You can love the 0.5ohm warranty all you want but if you plan on using that to your advantage for music, you'll have it in the shop more than in your vehicle.

You should never play below recommended ohm stability on music or with anything for more than a couple seconds if you like your equipment to last.

At the very least, if you do not care about my recommendation, make sure the coils you get are able to wire down to exactly 0.5 and not 0.35.

Cant go wrong with either, but for the money and power I say Crescendo all day. Sundowns are beast, but the Crescendo is no slouch. Go with your gut and budget on this one.
