Posted March 23, 200619 yr Any recommendations on a trunk mount EQ to get my feet wet with???I don't need 30 bands; maybe, something with 10 bands to play with.Something with a small footprint...

March 23, 200619 yr if you're going to buy an EQ why not get one that you wont have to upgrade later? 30band FTW
March 23, 200619 yr Author I don't compete; so, a 30 band isn't neccessary.I wanted to get my feet wet with it; and, it's gotta be small enough to fit in the gloove box or whatever.
March 23, 200619 yr AudioControl EQX---13 bands so it isn't that hard to set up plus a built in line driver
March 23, 200619 yr Author Nothing's wrong with it...It's actually for the next system; but, if I find one now, I can experiment with it.

April 1, 200619 yr i use the memphis eq-30 and i like it. i had the kicker and ppi 30 band eq's a few years ago and in my opinion, i like memphis the best. what about arc audio? they have a nice 30 band eq Edited April 1, 200619 yr by ragnaroksq
April 3, 200619 yr im telling you 30band FTW.it doesnt matter if you dont compeate. is there a single note too sharp? small range that needs boosting that is only evident in one or two songs? 30 band will get the job done.
