October 17, 201212 yr yes it will cut down on resistance. But the real question is do you need it.; which depends on your setup.

October 17, 201212 yr Instead of stuffing more batteries back there, an alt would be a far better investment.

October 17, 201212 yr Well i=e/ri=currente=voltager=resistancev and i are your friend and want alot of themv is like your mom you can only take so much of her....or until you get to like 15 volts, but you dont need to worry about thatI is like your best GF and you want as much of them as you can get.resistance is like her hater friends that get in the way of you two being together the less of them the better.resistance is stopping the full potential of your alt or battery from reaching its destination typically. So the more runs you have the less resistance and more current you will get to your amp.I think http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/Support/rftech.aspx#ampcalc explains it a little better with real results.
