hi guys, first posting on the forums, Im planning an install for my single cab truck with 2 10s and was considering the e10s from sundown or the incriminator audio i series and i wanna know which sub is the better option?

to SSA! I am sure that you will be happy with either. What kind of power are you planning on? Do you have enough room for both 10s in a good box?

the amp is a soundstream rubicon 1.1000d and the box will be sealed at about 0.6 cub ft of air space per chamber

Were the l3's sealed? What are you trying to improve on?

yes the l3 were sealed. they were pretty loud but just trying to see if i can improve in the sq department

It will all depend on the room that you have, but if you can fit a single 12 ported (in a proper enclosure) I would be willing to bet that you would be happier with it. Maybe even a single 10 ported. When you say SQ what do you mean specifically? What have you heard that you like?

basically i like more of tight, deep bass sound when i say sq

I personally had a incriminator I 10" in a custom box 1.25 cubic feet tuned to 32-33hz with around 16-square inches of port. It was very impressive on about 400 watts. Was loud but got nice and low. I beat on it for about 2 months hard then switched it out for 2 15" SSA icons. (Will be putting it in my Lil SIS's car. Also got a set of 12" sundown e series I'm installing for a friend so I'll get to try them out. For the money the I 10" sounds as good as subs twice as loud. Had a good 1/2"-1" roof flex in my Dakota from the one 10"

If you got to the Incriminator section on this forum its in one of the pinned threads that says "recommended box sizes", if you read, it will tell you that the I series is the same as one of the others. I don't remember which one, so just read the threads yourself.

On the IA site in tech it has them and its the same as the 187.
