How long do you guys recommend breaking in the ssd's b4 going to competition with them and putting a lot of power on them?

None. There is no breakin period. Also ssd subs are more sq then spl.

What do you consider alot of power?

None really, may peak alittle lower over time once they loosen up but the sub was tested before it was sent to you.

There is nothing SQ about a SSD, its a good daily sub that will sound good in the right install. You will never see a SSD in a SQ car, but you will see them in SPL comps

I had a pair of 15 ssd d4's I though they told me they were sq subs. Sorry for the wrong info.

I still say they are more a daily driver than spl.

I was referring to Scott's post about break in.

I've seen them in plenty of daily drivers and in spl lanes. Alot of power is only around 4000. That's not daily mind you just for a quick burp.
