Guess my head unit doesn't like my new setup. After going close to full tilt the screen goes blank until I turn truck off and back on. Any suggestions or just send it back to Crutchfield?

HMM... I'd send it to Crutchfield BUT, I've seen the Premier units (few of them) where the faceplate gets loose even without abuse... Good luck!

I used to repair issues like this. Often the contacts between faceplate and the headunit are dirty, corrosion, carbon arcing, etc.

Try pushing on the faceplate and jiggle it around a little and see if you can get it to do it.

If so you just need to clean the contacts with a pencil eraser. Be sure you blow out the shreds real well after you are done.
