I need Experienced help on choosing the right set of mid bass 6-3/4" or 6.5" speakers. I am looking for the best option in Quality and Loudness keeping in mind a low budget.

Thanks.

Experienced help you will get, BUT you need to give us way more information first. What processing do you have? Amps, tweeters, etc. What are your goals? How low is low? You might want to check some previous posts, there have been quite a few about mid bass drivers over the last couple of weeks.

Thanks for assuring the help. Ok, then let me start from the beginning. I have a 2002 nissan Maxima se. With stock bose radio.

I changed all 4 stock door speakers to 4 O2 mid hi speakers.

I have 2 pair of those small Tweeters, 2 front, and 2 in the rear of the car.

I have a 1000rms 4 channel amp for the voice.

1 kicker crossover with mids and bass adjustment

I have 1 kicker 15" l7 in a 3.0cuft ported box for bass.(looking to upgrade for louder sub)

I just bought a JVC radio with 3 pair rca outputs, haven't installed yet.

I have had this setup for a while now but i have never felt like completly happy with it. So I just bought that radio thinking that maybe the radio is the issue, but with my research lately it looks like I'm wrong.

oops, forgot budget , I wish I'll spend less than $250. Thanks

Don't change your sub now : this one can be very loud. you need to run it in a much bigger box (5 ft3 net). With 3ft3 you are on the smaller size.

For the mid bass speakers : take a look at parts-express.com and at madisound.com they have a big choice of speakers, for every budget.

Good luck.

Look at component sets in the SSA store.

Someone told me the the Image dynamics misbass speakers are one of the best in SQ, is that true?

And you don't need mid bass speakers, you need to get rid of the 4 tweeters and whatever else that you have and get a component set. I have a hard time believing that you really want SQ.

When he said quality it was NOT SQ, but something else.

Hey guys, I've tried to adjust the amp and crossover and can't find the way to get the front speakers to sound fully good, I believe I have to change them, need help please, thanks.

I know i thought i wanted mid bass, but honestly a 6.5 speaker doesn't sound good below 80hz in my door.

I have type R's and they are punchy lol.

Funny thing is i read a review that said that and i was like oh its just the application, but yea, 'punchy'

thread jack, but i guess more info on what hz is considered mid-bass?

i really like the crescendo pwx8 s good sound at higher volumes
