Did a small build in my daily driver and have no dimming of tail/dash lights at normal listening levels. I occasionally listen to it moderately loud when Im in the mood and when the double bass drums hit heavy or the bass guitar digs deep and loud I notice a faint amount of dimming. I just wondered what my next step would be to get rid of it altogether? Here is a list of what Im running.

4ga power from the battery to a distribution block on the back of the enclosure, 4ga ground to a rear strut tower bolt

about 1ft of 4ga power and ground from dist block to sub amp

about 2ft of 8ga power and ground from dist block to the front comp amp, mounted next to the sub amp on the back of the enclosure

Upgraded the "big 3" with 4ga

Better battery? Alternator? Dont worry about it? lol Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you!

I would try a better under hood battery. What is your voltage dropping to?

At high volumes with heavy lows it drops to about 12.4 or 12.5 at the lowest measuring at the dist block with a digital volt meter. It hovers around 14.3 to 14.5 back there with everything turned down.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it unless you think it affects you or other drivers.

Ok, thats what I'll do then. Not worry about it. Thanks for the help!!
