Posted November 16, 201212 yr Did a small build in my daily driver and have no dimming of tail/dash lights at normal listening levels. I occasionally listen to it moderately loud when Im in the mood and when the double bass drums hit heavy or the bass guitar digs deep and loud I notice a faint amount of dimming. I just wondered what my next step would be to get rid of it altogether? Here is a list of what Im running.02 Accord EX-L V6 Coupe with a stock alternator and the car already had a few month old Optima Red top in it.Pioneer AVH4300DVD head unitPhoenix Gold Elite.65cs comps up front powered by a JL A2150SSA Icon 10 in a 1 cube sealed enclosure powered by a JL JX1000.1D @ 2ohms4ga power from the battery to a distribution block on the back of the enclosure, 4ga ground to a rear strut tower boltabout 1ft of 4ga power and ground from dist block to sub ampabout 2ft of 8ga power and ground from dist block to the front comp amp, mounted next to the sub amp on the back of the enclosureUpgraded the "big 3" with 4gaBetter battery? November 16, 201212 yr Author At high volumes with heavy lows it drops to about 12.4 or 12.5 at the lowest measuring at the dist block with a digital volt meter. It hovers around 14.3 to 14.5 back there with everything turned down.
November 16, 201212 yr I honestly wouldn't worry about it unless you think it affects you or other drivers.
