Just bought this truck and was putting a aftermarket HU in with the scosche interface and have it all wired and everything working radio, chimes, delayed power off. But the anti theft light flashes when I start the truck and stays on while im driving. Its a 2011 Colorado Crew Cab

Just bought a 2011 colorado and after putting a aftermarket HU in with the scosche interface and having everything working, radio, chimes, delayed power off I notice the anti theft light is on. It flashes when I start the truck and then stays on while im driving. It does go away if I hook up the stock radio.

The stock HU is part of the vehicle's anti-theft databus system. Everything is integrated. You will have to get an adapter or hook the stock HU back up and hide it somewhere, or have the ECM reflashed and the anti theft removed. No longer can you simply remove the stock HU and install an aftermarket one in place.
