i just orderd a 18'' fi btl recone and the spider is super stiff. after it was glued into basket the sup hardly wants to move its so stiff? i shimed the coil thats not rubbin ,so maybe its normal to be suer stiff? this is my first recone so any info will be helpfull. also want suggestions on a box for this sub. i like lows its gonna be used in a daily driver with a bd 1500.1

If you bought the BTL new you should know , it will loosen up with playing.

Fi's box recommendation will work just fine.

When I bought my zcon I could barely make it move when I pressed down on it. It will loosen up after you start beating on it.

Not that much power. I'd go on the bigger side for a box. They get sloppy eventually
