Posted January 13, 201312 yr Looking for budget amplifier to power a 12" SSA DCON subwoofer SVC or DVC 4-ohm (1.2 cu ft sealed to spec). I would like a class d amplifier rated at about ~300w rms clean (give or take, this is a low power budget system). Any ideas?
January 13, 201312 yr ba gt 2125 http://www.sonicelec...cs-GT-2125.htmli would get the svc 4ohm and later if you add another dcon you can wire it to 2ohm at the amp for 600rms.no need to worry about class d vs ab. Edited January 13, 201312 yr by lithium

For the wiring of the 2 svc 4-ohm subs to get a 2-ohm impedance, you connect amp (-) to sub1 (-) to sub2 (-) and then amp (+) to sub1 (+) to sub2 (+) ?

January 13, 201312 yr Author As for a wiring kit, what would you recommend? I'm really not sure of the relative quality/value of the different brands.Edit: For the single sub setup, that is. Edited January 13, 201312 yr by Trixton
