Posted March 17, 200421 yr What type of saw do you use when cutting a sheet of mdf? Also what type of blade do you have on your saw? Would a carbide tip blade on a skillsaw work? I'll be using a skillsaw to cut my sheet of mdf into a couple of smaller pieces, so that I can fit it into my work area where my table saw is, which also has a carbide tip blade on it.. does this sound ok to you? March 17, 200421 yr A cabinet-grade table saw is your best bet, however most people don't have access to one. If nothing else, use a circular saw and a straight edge. They make a blade specifically for MDF that has a bunch of tiny teeth. As far as cutting the sheet in half, you gotta do what you gotta do
