August 28, 201312 yr OK.... so I was wrong somehow. It looks like the 997 started in model year 2005..... The M5 was often caught doing 0-60 in 4.1, but it was advertised as much slower. From the data I have now, the 997 S would hit it at about 4.5....
August 28, 201312 yr Love the V. I drove the 2 door coupe and the Sedan. But honestly the looks of the Wagon are so unique and just different I had to go that way. I felt no difference in the performance aspect even though the coupe claims faster times. Went with the auto because its a daily driver and should lay down faster 1/4 mile times especially once modded. Looks like a pulley, CAI, exhaust and tune will be the mods I try. That makes for a stout combo. For now even stock the car will move out for sure. Very happy with this purchaseFew months ago I saw one for the first time, and thought "wait what, a wagon?! Awesome!"
August 28, 201312 yr I HAVE AN IPAD, SO FUCK ALL OF YOU.Wife does for her masters program. In chem the girl next to me took all her notes on hers, but regardless of tablet type I feel more comfortable with notebooks--lots and lots of notebooks! What's the wife do?

August 28, 201312 yr I hate them, but not compared to what else has been recommended. It might be on the ticket. The W actually told me today that she would rather me spend the extra on a car I would really be happy driving with lower miles than to get a new car for herself. Broke my heart. She did say she would steel the RS4 if I got it, and take it everymorning before I wake up. For what ever reason she finds that car to be her unicorn. Then that's the car I would buy if it were me

What's the wife do? IT analyst for a medical group here in MN. She just got trained on the largest and basically the trend setting software that is used in almost all coding, billing, etc etc. She deals with setting up and working out rules for the data entry side.

Then that's the car I would buy if it were meIt is a scary car to drive. The clutch was actually tough to work. It needed what felt like 2 feet of travel. It also was known as the single most expensive to own vehicle for a little while. All kinds of problems. It would have been my dream car when I was in my teens.

Basically after a year or 2 they will have to give her a 20% raise or so, otherwise she could probably get a sign on bonus and raise from a competitor that knows they won't have to pay for her training (2 weeks are 15k+) and she will have had experience. She also brings 10 years previous work in the revenue cycle. It's a pretty legit place to be.

What were the main problems with the car?Well, I would have to look it up as it may not be the same year.... however a lot of those RS models used a tuned down lamborghini motor. And before they got the hang of it, tuning it down was wrecking them. And they were destroying the gearbox and quatro system. 90% were covered under warranty, but from what I read they didn't fix anything. Just replaced and then everyone knew that if they drove it to 60% of it's ability the thing would eat itself. Again I don't remember what years, but it was horrible growing pains and used really really spendy Lambo parts.
