Mink oil is amazing for conditioning.For cleaning, mothers makes a product that shocked me how good it was. I will look to it and let you know.

Like Sean said any good brand rather than milk.

You should not be seeing any wear yet unless you are abusing the shit out of it. I agree with Neal here.
