I never had a issue. Even spraying a 175 through gears. Interior was awesome, I honestly loved the truck. Yes the Porshe was rated at like a 11.9 car and I walked it Hard! Stock it did 430rwhp 450rwtq and on a 125 shot did 560rwhp, over 600 on the big shot.

Interior is fine but nowhere near what Sean is looking for, I know that but maybe he can fix it to his liking. Overall the truck is badass, Matt you would enjoy the shit out of it. Except maybe in snow.

I had a 05, the 06's had even nicer interior.

From what I have heard through the grapevine, they have had very few issues with the cummins transmissions.  Mechanically that engine is solid with very few issues whatsoever.  My only gripe personally is that I'd rather have the viper spec t56.

You had no mechanical problems? Where they known for any major issues Lee?

Not that I was aware of, I did a lot of research before buying. It's funny really, all I did was 2 step colder plugs to spray that much. I have pics I will post when I get home. The viper motor is just a big pushrod motor that is pretty bulletproof. Stock the AF ratio was 10 flat at WOT, on a 125 shot it was still low 12's. They are so conservative

I needed to justify it to the wife so I never consider a RC. Kinda like my current "wagon" lmao

gmc 2500 hd 6.6l diesel? 2011+ they have 650-720 lb ft of torque, ok interiors, handle well and pull like a bat out of hell. My girlfriends father has an '11 and has taken a late 90's viper on the highway.

Unless it's very modded, very , he is full of shit.

M5 here is one last suggestion, I have been down your road and had the same goals. The SRT Ram quad cab will tow over 10k and run 13's bone stock. It will out handle and out stop that Escalade. And can be had for 25k with sorta low miles. I put a Zex wet kit on mine and sprayed it with a 175 shot ( no tune needed they are so rich from factory) with that shot it put bus lengths on my good friends 2005 Porshe 911 Turbo S even from highway rolls.

Don't sell it short, go drive one. The viper big Tq makes for the funnest truck I ever owned. Screw gas mileage, it's a minor thing if added up honestly. I got 10mpgbin mine and I bet that Escalade is getting 13 at best.

And if it came in AWD I'd be fine. This is my "winter" car. Btw, I've spent a lot of time in one. My Uncle has one(first year though so it is a single cab).

Sean in a Ram is akin to me buying a prancing horse and painting it yellow.

With black rims.

Wife works 3rd shift, and now with this IPad mini I've found it quite enjoyable to sit in the dark alone at night and listen to some music after the kids go to bed. Problem is I listen with my son's $10 headphones....which surprisingly don't sound quite as terrible as I expected for $10 headphones. Not stellar by any means, but tolerable for the most part.

Anyways, has my considering picking up a set of decent headphones. But head-Fi ain't my thing, so I'm procrastinating because I'm dreading the research

I've got a voice coil issue on a headphone siminar around here somewhere. If I can find it I'll scan and upload it.

what kind of headphones you looking for, iem, circumaural, overear?

Again, not a head-Fi guy. I want the kind that covers the whole ear....whatever the hell that is called. Closed back. Doesn't need active noise cancellation, house is pretty quiet and wouldn't use them anywhere else

MTX iX1's?

I dont know much about headphones really but I would recommend sennheiser. I picked up a pair of hd 558 for about $130. Only gripe is that the cord came with a 1/4" jack and an adapter that is rather large. I decided to buy another cord for it but you could just hack the 1/4" off and solder a 3.5mm on. They do use an open back design, not sure how big of a deal this is for you. The isolation is fine but they do leak sound.

I think aaron is a Sennhieser fan, he can probably speak more on it.

Or the Viper wasn't racing, driven by my grandpa, yadayada. I thought the 2500 diesel felt like a dog when I drove it. Sure torquey, but not quick.
