May 19, 20169 yr Decision would be easy if Canon and Nikon would get smart and add the IR to the camera body, it would be an easier decision. Big advantage IMO in particular for mirrorless as the screen is the view finder so it is corrected.
May 19, 20169 yr They also have the advantage of being the newest manufacturing technology too Building a polish machine today isn't anywhere near like what it was even 10 years ago.
May 19, 20169 yr Mentally I am tougher than I am physically. Guess doing manual labor helps remind me of this as I sit here getting stiff and sore!
May 19, 20169 yr I like that feeling, although recovering from it doesn't go as fast as I'd like it to.
May 19, 20169 yr The lighting was better outside btw. Much. Outside shots are at 70mm/5.6, 248mm/6.3 and 300mm/6.3 to give you some variance. Nearly 95% of my inside shots were good. 80% of the outdoor ones I had to delete. Worse is when you see them full size you can see that even at only 20mp the camera outdoes the glass. To be fair I was coaching while shooting...even though I am not the coach.
May 19, 20169 yr A little better light management on my part would have helped. These are from this week. The in house lens is half the price of the lens used outside, but it is a prime versus a zoom.
May 19, 20169 yr Indoor with the 50 I was at a conversation distance away. Gives you an idea of the reach. Full body shots require being across the room or further.

Any place that demands a permit for work that isn't plumbing, electrical, or structural related needs a swift kick in the nuts.

I know, almost without looking at the body, exactly where all my manual adjustments are. The 70-200 is better for shooting people. Like way. It is just too fast and the glass is too good.

If it werent for IS awesomesauce on that lens i could argue a pair of primes is better...but you gain 2-3 stops without reducing the field of view which is huge. Too bad the damn thing is a fuxking tank
May 19, 20169 yr So in other words with perfect light the primes win. Too bad we never see perfect light aargh

It's so close I don't care.
