Is there a benefit to making a wall?

couldnt a large box bolted down do the sale thing?

Can you build a wall behind the c pillars for a hatch area? I'd still like to use the back seats just in case but I want this sucker to be loud. And in all fairness, the car only KBBs at about $1300. I'd say its one major repair away from the junkyard anyhow.

If I make a false floor for the extra batt in the boot I could Wall of from the behind back seat. That way when no one is sitting back there or free of bags, groceries, etc I could lay the seats down and get the effect of a wall. Sort of. Idk, i've never built anything this large but I know i can. Just need a lil direction ;)

Why would you ever be a fan of one?

Just insane bass I guess. Maybe I'll wait until I get something more suitable for that. Prob just gonna go behind the backseat and do what i can from there

Thoughts on this crossover design for evil mid and tweeter, both are 8ohms.

Bookshelf speaker build.

Curious why you picked 2500Hz

...and where these are going.

Starting point, they are bookshelf setting in the garage.

A few reasons this will be helpful.

1) Active ignores impedance so you can just set it and be golden in the range

2) You can play over and over with baffle compensation and with your baffles in particular that will be helpful

3) You can experiment without spending money, generally speaking an active crossover will be cheaper than its analog counterpart anyways.  If you have 10 iterations of analog then you are out a ton of cash for what could have been done easily active

...I could go on

Finally got the money saved up for sound deadening. I'll be able to create a build log as soon as it arrives :)
