How do I make my head unit not shut off every time I start the car?

Bypass the fuse box and wire directly to the battery?  Not sure if that's a good idea though...

It will still most likely happen.  Starter uses a bunch of volts and HUs protect themselves.

Good point. Sounds like a waste of time trying to bypass it anyway.

The starter has nothing to do with it.  It's the way the ignition is wired.  The switched lead opens during the cranking cycle.

Weird.  My HU is right to the batt and still cuts out on start up.........

If the voltage drops a lot when cracking no head unit is going to stay on, no matter how it's wired.

We already covered this MR. I'm late to the party.

Getting to try wagyu for the second time' hope this experience is better.

You had a bad experience with wagyu???

Wagyu cattle must hang for a very long time before butchering. We raise Black Angus and Black Angus Wagyu mixed. Typical cattle are aged for 2 weeks. We age our Wagyu/Angus mixed for up to 8

Question.

Need a new battery for my car. Looking at the Diehard Platinum 34/78DT for my '94 Roadmaster. Here's my problem....the measurement section shows that the width of the battery is about 7/8 inches bigger than a standard 34/78 battery which should be ~7". Does their measurement just include the mounting lips, or are they really a little bigger than a standard 34/78?

If it's really 7.875" at the base it's not going to fit.

Well, might have answered my question. I guess looking at the Odyssey batteries the comparable 34/78 model is listed as being ~7" including the flange, looks like the Diehard is more or less a rebadged Odyssey.....so I'm going to guess it's just a typo on the Diehard page and go ahead and order it.

If you ever thought my posts were odd--think again.
I see your Hollow Back Press and raise you Barbell Hip Thrusts

Prepping for his GF.

Hmm, *runs off to find something even better*

thats actually a great workout for your glutes and hams. i do it all the time, although i'm flat on the floor when doing so.

it's like 6 3/4 at the flange and the side terminals stick out about an inch

If you're directing this at me, I am no fan or Mopar nor Chrysler products in general.

I thought you liked older mopar, but maybe I was thinking acidburn.

Mother fucker. Sears website doesn't show it available for pickup at the closets Sears. Bitching at an agent through chat. This isn't going to go well for him.

Went better than expected. They have some in stock at a store more than 50 miles from me, told them I wasn't driving that far & they needed to have one sent to my local store. Guy said he could contact the auto center to see if they could arrange that. Didn't figure they would be willing to do that, and still might not as he hasn't talked to the auto centers yet....but I'm tired of having to jump my fucking car in 10* weather, so atleast it's a step in the right direction.

Sorry, not me. I like some of their newer designs, but in general, I feel their vehicles are junk.

They can and will ship from another store and should honor the price. Being a former employee, I've seen them do this countless times. I've also seen them screw people as well and charge them for shipping from the other store. Be very careful and check your receipt. If there is even a penny difference, get the manager in there ASAP and then threaten to call corporate.

Neal, when you were shopping last, did you happen to drive a Venza? If so, what were your feelings?

I like the Venza, but my wife did not. My gram has one and loves it. Similar to the Ford Edge I was told.

Even the best ingredients will taste like shit in the hands of an amateur

@centrifuge video, If only...

The very last one...I laughed so hard I nearly pissed my pants

Kader, if you're ever back in H-town, check out Mark's, especially if there's a wagyu special. He does some amazing things with beef; the short rib & flank steak special I had there is by far the best meat dish I have ever had the pleasure of eating.

It's also probably the best place in town to bring a date. Used to be a large church, beautiful spot.

How do you get started? Don't want to compete. My BIL owns a Dairy/Beef farm and keeps offering to sell me a steer and only pay butchering, but I know what he'd be out. Said I wanted to buy a Wagyu feeder ~300lbs or so and have him raise it. Then I'd give him meat in payment. Don't want to take advantage of him and gift him something in return. I've looked all over and can't find where to buy one :(
