March 24, 201312 yr Went for a ride on the MTB competition track. Sticky mud everywhere, I could barely move around with my street slicks But I did learn a few things: my brake levers are in the wrong position, my chain is a bit sloppy and even with knobby tires, I need to lose the fenders when riding off-road.
March 24, 201312 yr Biggest thing I learned is that cross-country biking is tons of fun. So I really need to get a set of wheels for such adventures.
March 24, 201312 yr Never driven a Sequoia and if they drive like an Escalade/Navigator I'm not interested.Did sit in one though and while not in love could maybe live with it if:Took this in a different color:http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?endYear=2011&zip=55391&listingType=certified&driveCodes=4WD%7CAWD&listingTypes=certified&sellerTypes=b&mmt=%5BTOYOTA%5BSEQUOIA%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&featureCodes=7&modelCode1=SEQUOIA&driveCode=4WD%7CAWD&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&showcaseOwnerId=0&makeCode1=TOYOTA&startYear=2009&searchRadius=0&listingId=341558683&Log=0And then added a drop like this:And a little paint like this:Some winter tires on the stock rims and something better than the above on new ones. And most importantly the TRD Supercharger. 504hp and 550lbs Torquehttp://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/toyota-tundra-trd-supercharged-first-drive-reviewwhich doesn't even void the warranty. Are you sick? Is this Sean? YOu? In a Japanese vehicle? He is fighting what he knows he should do. :-)
March 24, 201312 yr Sean, buy a solid Ford pickup, lease a German hot rod, move on and be happy. If you leave the job yoh "suffer" with your pickem up until you find a new gig.If you leave the current job and you are leasing the towing vehicle you will just need to buy a truck until you get a new gig. Prepair and save yourself the hassle. That requires an investment on my part so it won't happen. Neither will two cars until I move. Has to be a single choice. Also eliminated anything that causes me to pay anything out of pocket but that is on principleYou know I normally support you argument. I just think this time it is misguided.
March 25, 201312 yr Well, shit. Looks like I'm going to be an uncle. Again. You shouldn't be foolin around with your sis like that. Oh you country folk... Edited March 25, 201312 yr by dem beats

Maybe I need those pain meds more than I realize.

That trumps the car choice.

Is this Sean? YOu? In a Japanese vehicle? Drove the Escalade - hated it. Same with the F150 even already lowered so I crossed of the Expy/Navi. No full size Dodge. Germans are price prohibitive. No Korean solution. So yeah, I'm sick. Won't happen I am sure once I drive one, but I am exploring all options.

March 25, 201312 yr The Expedition is similar to the F-150, but the Navigator is a different best. You can thank the air suspension for that.
March 25, 201312 yr The Expedition is similar to the F-150, but the Navigator is a different best. You can thank the air suspension for that.I love the navigator. I just spend too much time urban off roading for it to be my choice. That thing can be tuned into a damn beast with not a lot of work.
March 25, 201312 yr The tundras/sequoias are fucking garbage. I had a 07. Gas pedal stuck within 500 miles. Needed a new trans after a seal blew. Rear end had to be replaced. Truck couldn't hold alignment. Had to replace tires after every 25k miles. Several places did alignments. My dad had three. All had the same issues with not holding alignments.I have a co worker that purchased hers in another state. She is on her third set of tires with only 60k milesMy aunt had the Lexus suv version and lemoned.Everyone I know with Tundras love them and say they've been the best trucks they've owned. No issues besides two things Rubber door seals on back tore after a hard freeze. Replaced under warranty. Tires needed replaced around 25k. The stock tires were made of shit rubber. I also drive over pavement at 90+ mph in 100+ degree summers for over 100 miles, add in the back/side roads and driving off the beaten path on parts of base, and I wasn't surprised. J

March 25, 201312 yr Fuck. 2015 new Navy. Might be interesting although I will not own a first run production of ANYTHING.
March 25, 201312 yr Fuck. 2015 new Navy. Might be interesting although I will not own a first run production of ANYTHING. Unless they overhaul everything, I wouldnt buy one. A family member owns a '12 Navi and it is very underwhelming in every aspect for the $65k price tag on it.

March 25, 201312 yr Jesus, 65k? Really?I saw a 2009 for 11k either it didnt run, had extremely high miles or was wrecked bad enough to have a salvage tittle, 09s with 75 K go for about 30K or there abouts

New chassis and a Coyote would be saweet. It will either get the Coyote, or the all aluminum 5.4. Ford is switching to aluminum in many of the truck body panels for weight savings. The pickups are supposed to he 7-800 lbs. lighter. Last I read, it was the entire doghouse and bed on the pickups, so I would venture to say the Navi and Expo should save at least a couple hundred.
March 25, 201312 yr Jesus, 65k? Really?I saw a 2009 for 11kThey're all fucking nuts. The sticker on the Focus ST I built was $29K! They're fucking nuts.
