I have lost my temper too much today. My BP must be bouncing off max right about now.

Spoke to my wife a few minutes ago. Sounds like she is having a break down. Ultra stressed at work, thinks she is failing, afraid to move, thinks she has no patience for the boys and is making them hate her. All sorts of shit. Was fine yesterday. Never seen her react like this sad.png

Oh, lord. Got a PM asking about miniDSP's to be used with 10" Neo, HLCD, and two sets of FT1's. Seriously what fucking forum is promoting such idiotic bullshit. A midrange for a midbass and triple loaded tweets to mate with a single pair? I almost cried it was so bad. sad.png

About the same time my mom went stupid. One day she's fine then the next she's crazy. She takes a couple pills a day and haven't had any issues in about 6 years.

Yeah, hormones are a fucking bitch monkey, especially in my family.

It's crazy (no pun intended) how just an ever so slight tweak in levels can help sooooooo much

Was fine until she got her promotion. Tonight was complaining about not wanting it, not being ready for it, and not liking it.

I know the transition is stressful, but having a meltdown the first day I am away sucks.

Send a masseuse to ur house tomorrow to get her rub down. (No pun intended)

Let her know you are there for her and make a date night. It sounds exactly like when my wife had the problems with her boss.

I told her the worst they can do is fire you, and then the problems are gone and we will still be fine. Once she realised all they can do is fire her she started working harder with less stress. You may need to word it different depending on your reliance on her immediate income, but I know you can figure it out so just let her know it's ok. More than likely her knowing it is ok will set her free and it will work out well.

I just noticed you are out of town. Flowers to her work might be nice, or a staycation when you get home.

I found the W to be nice if you want to be downtown. Drink too much and relax for a weekend.

On that same note the wife already is getting frustrated with me gone on weekends. She was pretty bummed this last weekend and she had made plans a few weekends out forgetting I work....

She likes the alone time but hates the frustration.

Her new job is getting to her also when combined with school. It seems this is the springtime of frustrated progress.

Growing pains and such.

We have no reliance on her income. If she needs to quit, she can. Of course we are talking about moving in which case we will be reliant on her income if we want to retire.

I think my ridiculous list of things to finish before we can list our house probably put her over the top. I'm a fucking machine though. If I don't have too much to do I GO nuts. That is what drives me and what makes me drive everyone else batty. Just a bummer that it shows up while I am gone.

It gets worse.

Next two weekends we are gone. I travel one more week. Then we go on vacation and leave our 2 year old alone iwth my brother for two weeks. Add to that my soon to be 4 year olds birthday party to plan and the fact that I have three people lined up to look at our house and she is not dealing well.

Then you add that the 4 year old challenges EVERYTHING we do and it gets to both of us. Me being gone compounds it like hell.

It will only show up when you are gone because that's when she notices it. Wife has to stack outnof state training with her school and work load too. I expect no less that 2 phone calls per trip to Wisconsin.

You are kind of the rock of the house and sometimes physical distance is a catalyst for emotional flood gates to be opened. Make it special when you come home if only for a night.

Who wants to retire anyway. :)

And just because she leaves this gig doesn't mean she can't find something with a more relaxed pace.
