My best buddy turns 8 years old today and I promised him a fun day out at an Orioles game. Time to start planning.

Going to have to change your plans as fun and baseball cannot go together.

Name another sport aside from soccer that has encompassed the globe and spawned professional leagues and billions of fans like baseball has.

Considering the average human being is stupid what does that say?

Golf.

Auto racing.

Bike racing

Shooting.

Hockey.

Shall I go on?

Nope

Nope

Nope

Nope

Nope

Actually the real answer is none. Billions means significantly more than 1 and that percentage of the globe is not a fan of baseball. The world is getting dumber though so maybe someday.

Nascar has never come close.

Never said NASCAR. I was honestly thinking F1, CART, Indy car type racing. However, NASCAR is auto racing, and part of the sport.

Sorry, but auto racing is far bigger than baseball.

Hockey? No? I'll chuckle at that.

You could argue shooting, and I'll give leeway to that.

Bike racing? Sorry the Tour DeFrance is bigger than any baseball event.

Anyways, all the sports I mentioned, aside from shooting, perhaps, have met your criteria.

FWIW, I like hockey, and I like to shoot (although competitive shooting isn't my thing), but none of these sports aside from hockey means shit to me.

Really, that is your argument?

Auto racing as a collective I can see.

Hockey, seriously?  The most notable league, the NHL is a joke.

g,

Shooting?  A "sport?"  Maybe in the technical sense, but no.

Bike racing?  The Tour is the only significant event of it's sport.

Baseball has reached the world over.  Anyone can pick up a stick, hit the ball and run around the bases.  It's played, (professionally, semi-pro, amateur, and fun) anywhere and everywhere.  Ever seen a picture of a kid in South America or Africa playing hockey, shooting, riding a bike?    Baseball, like soccer is universally adored for it's fun and simplicity.

Auto racing as a whole? So you divide it up based on your idea of auto racing? So much for multiple leagues all over the world.

Beaseball, a sport? Fat guy standing in a large field? Sounds like shooting to me.

Hockey is worldwide too. Yet again you take 1 league and siallow all others around the world. Most of northern europe and asia play hockey. Field hockey can also be played all over the world. It is hockey. Maybe not on ice as you know it, but it is hockey.

Sorry, but many sports meet your criteria. Cricket, Field Hockey... both are bigger. Tennis... Bigger.

I posted 6 "sports" bigger than baseball.

I didn't know they had small non quad style pervin drones.

Not looking to mount the 70-200, just something to scare the "wife" with.

These already have cameras and you can't buy them.

Perfect, just acquire one for me.

Scratch and dent or whatevs.

:-)

More fans of hockey than baseball. Field hockey is hockey for those not in the North.

It's the best sport ever. And if you don't find a teammate you can always practice a little handball.

Sport all unto it's own.

Billy Bob Thornton may be a nutjob, but he is a brilliant actor. He is a genius in "A Simple Plan", as well as almost every movie he has been in.

Sorry, but I am really enjoying his abilities right now.
