Before I do a sweet car project though I've got a couple house projects.

1. Heatermeter for the egg.

2. Considering ditching DirectTV and may replace with XBMC powered by raspberry pi or htpc

check out plex, they have client software for just about everything. i have it on a vps so i have music and movies wherever i go, but its mainly geared for what you want.

My buddy shares his account with me and he'll get me any movie I ask for within a day or two. He also shares his in-laws watchespn info. Wife has her moms netflix account, so that leaves hulu. I really want local channels as well but the local channels here are 1.5 hours away in Tulsa so the antenna wouldn't pick them up. I'd really like Houston local channels (if I could choose) so I could get my hometown sports.

It would be nice to get hgtv and others every now and the. I think there are roku channels that do that. What I do want is to need only one device in the end, and I do already have a Roku, but I'm open to change for an upgrade.

ESPN, Fox Sports North, & Food TV are all I need besides over the air. Are they available on anything you've seen?

Good luck with the channel hunting, I have no idea how to go about getting those. I don't know if they still exist but you could try googling: "black box satellite" :D

If the card isn't in the camera even a WiFi card can't help either.

;)

Smartass aside, it's only worth it for studio stuff. You need to have a WiFi system with your camera. Your cellphone might work but it will suck. It also won't write as fast as an SD card, so you cannot take a ton of pictures.

Damn wonky phone. I'm going to check out the channels listed in the link below.

i thought about getting a wifi thumb drive which i would leave plugged into my car. so i could add/remove music from my house. could do the same with a wifi hdd i guess.

They actually male cards with wofi inside. You can hook up your computer to it and download from it.

I know man. But it's super duper slow. And only works if you have your laptop with.

It's a tool for studio shooting more than anything else.

Speaking of mud butt, when we going fishing boss?

Just bought a license. Boat is finally in the water...

What are your day offs?

Monday and Tuesday usually.

I'm at southdale tomorrow AM to get an injection in fact. That's what made me think of it.

Tried electrolytic derusting today on a rusty bracket (which I planned to replace instead of clean and reinstall). And it works very nicely. It takes time but after the solution and electrodes are setup, it's a piece of cake.
