Going to buy an Intel NUC most likely for the car pc. So small it'll fit behind the screen.

Takes DDR3L ram. Last pc I built I read it was better to run a 2x4gb kit than an 8gb single stick. Is this still a reality or was that related to the motherboard I had at the time?

And of course they are dual channel so that means for sure a 2x kit is faster right?

I don't think the RAM thing matters but I like the single big one for upgrade potential.

I am buying it all now, not upgrading. It is a carpc and yanking the dash to get to it won't make me want to do shit.
