March 15, 201312 yr Why not an E63/M5/M6 or the like. Way better daily car. You lose AWD, but snow tires work great.the M6 is pure sex, but i have had a thing for Porsche since i was a kid.
March 15, 201312 yr What's the going rate for a 966i don't know about the 966, but the 996 turbo is about $35-40 with roughly 50k miles. thats the average rate anyway

March 15, 201312 yr Theo, did you guys get the blizzard? It's stupidly cold with this blizzard, my hands froze going to work this morning by bike And I barely pedaled up a slope I usually go fast on, because of the wind.

It's stupidly cold with this blizzard, my hands froze going to work this morning by bike And I barely pedaled up a slope I usually go fast on, because of the wind. It was warm these past few days. Today was partially sunny too, but right at the moment it is snowing and there is a thin layer covering parked cars. On Tuesday its going to be 14 C again. Blizzard is a strong word.

March 15, 201312 yr Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3 Do you stitch that together in place on the wheel?? Either way, wow.
March 15, 201312 yr Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3 Do you stitch that together in place on the wheel?? Either way, wow.I couldn't understand you completely, but if you are asking if I am stitching it to the wheel too, then no. It's not attached to it in any way. I am thinking about adding glue tho. But seeing how much grip this little rectangular piece has on its own I may not glue it. The leather is a bit less than the diameter so it is stretched a bit for a better, tight look.
March 15, 201312 yr I asked a somewhat stupid question. Do you stitch that and then put it on or stitch the leather together as it is wrapped around the wheel. I don't really understand how either would work as getting tension on it has to be a bitch. Looks great btw

March 15, 201312 yr Still somewhat of a stupid question, Sean. How am I going to put it on if it's stitched together? It's a closed circle, not a pipe with two ends. But yeah. I wrap it around the wheel and start sewing and pulling and fitting.
March 15, 201312 yr I am no expert at all by the way. I got the leather yesterday, watched some videos in the morning and it's now 00:28 in the middle of the night, and I am using the sewing machine to puncture holes.
March 15, 201312 yr You have much more patience and skill than I. I'd be getting aggravated, and breaking shit in five minutes.
March 15, 201312 yr You know upholstery suppliers make steering wheel kits with the sewing holes pre punched.
March 15, 201312 yr It's all free for me. I haven't looked but I bet there won't be one for my MOMO RACE wheel.

March 16, 201312 yr Drove a CL65 AMG today, twin turbo V12. Did front brakes (4 calipers in front, 2 per wheel). People really pay $225K for that car? What a fucking waste.
