$upercharger on a Toyota doesn't void the warranty which was why I test drove the sequoia

Last I read it altered the warrantee down to 50,000 miles, by virture of the milage for that part when added on by the dealer.

best part of a gm is it doesn't matter. I can get a used motor for a couple hundred bones if I pop mine

Only cool thing about GM is the cheep as Fuck parts.

:-)

True. Toyota locked down the computer on the Tundra as well. Finding a reliable tuner is almost impossible.

OK, so Seth bought his first set of cans. They are easily driven, 18 ohm cans. Sennhieser Momentums.

Who here uses cans and what amps are you using? Interested in tubes.

Requirements:

  • must be able to roll so they have to be socketed.
  • down to 18 ohms, 20 should be safe
  • I would really like 3.5mm and RCA inputs
  • small footprint
  • under $250

Shoot!!!

I dont use the tube amp that much honestly. I was planning to use it at work. But I have an electrical noise that is only present while using the amp at work and not at my apartment. Probably need to come up more robust filtering or just battery power it.

another option I like to use is this dac to directly drive my headphones. pretty cheap burr-brown.  http://www.amazon.com/Behringer-UCA202-Audio-Interface/dp/B000KW2YEI

use a second one as the dac in my car. think sean is using it too.

Fuckin A.....insomnia is kicking my ass. Gotta fix this tomorrow.

Since you asked Stephen, parts list off the top of my slightly confused head. Sitting in Amsterdam atm.

Wilwood 16/14.5" 6/4piston brake kit

2/3 - 4" lowering kit (spindles/springs)

Sway bars

Panhard

Long Tube Headers

2.3L Whipple with a couple pulleys

102mm TB

ID850 injectors

AFX Wideband

HP Tuners Pro

Seas U18

Scan Speak D2904

Polk D4000.4

Intel NUC

Chalk-Elec 10" touchscreen

....all sorts of connectivity shit: Sure GPS, PacSWI, JoyConn, EasyDVD (BU Camera), Behringer DAC, etc..

24" TBSS Factory Repo's in polished Aluminum

305 35 24 Nitto 420s

Started as a 400hp L94 6.2L Alum. At around 12+/-2psi I should be in the 625-725hp range and tickling 11's in the 1/4 where it ran 14.8 or so stock. It ought to be quick....if not I'll fix that.

How much have you spent on performace upgrades for the escalade, and what upgrades have you done? Is it a lot faster?

a lot and ask me next week, this I'd on my workbench

Thats awesome, what do you mean by if its not quick enough you'll fix that dont tell me your gonna run nitrous through your new engine lol

Sean will have the engine of an F-16 in the back of the Escalade by the end of 2016.

J

I'm still shocked you picked an escalade. :D

He's still in the closet. Cibstabtly knocking the thing, yet he's loved it since inception.

If it's not quick enough he will eat burger king again and use a Fart collector to give methane injection!

14.8 stock?

My poor truck ran 16.4 stock and 15.586 after intake, LT Headers, full dual exhaust, tune, e-fans.

Wish I could do again. Would have spent my money much differently.
