June 1, 201510 yr Only through the first clay bar. Need to go fix some blemishes but it looks better already Shouldn't claybar make your truck look dull since you are stripping off wax? What did you end up buying?Duller than polished, better than all messed up. There is no wax, no polish, just bare paint. Need to get the paint clean to get the swirls out.
June 1, 201510 yr Thanks Sean, I just want to get it done. Tomorrow I hope to finish things up. As far as patents go I have been told I seem to run a bit thin on them in my old age.

June 1, 201510 yr That is going to be a busy week. Graduation, then graduation party, then off to watch the O's play the Yankees.

Need to go fix some blemishes but it looks better alreadyShouldn't claybar make your truck look dull since you are stripping off wax? What did you end up buying?Wax doesn't do anything for shine, polish does. The gloss factor of the paint itself is where the shine comes from. Wax should be stripped before clay. Wax is nothing more than a layer if protection. Reading that post is like reading one of Mike's posts...
June 1, 201510 yr So my little friend who has autism likes to play in water because that is what calms her, so the wife and I bought her a water table that she wanted. Her expression was worth the world to me. It amazes me how amazing these gifted kids are.

Ours is water and gravel (small river stone) since I use the same mini-pebbles in my landscaping so when they spill no effort is required.
June 1, 201510 yr Wednesday and Thursday I hope to have a swimming pool back up and running for a good friend and US solder who has been on 3 tours. I hope he is surprised!

June 1, 201510 yr They also said when it rolls into the store they will have real glass screen protectors. Why? Its whatever new version of gorilla glass is isn't it? Sure it is, but still isn't unbreakable. Non-glass screen savers SUCK I've never broken a screen and I gave up on screen protectors a few years ago. My current phone has a sapphire screen though and haven't had an issue. You have a Kyocera? I've been in the three plants that could have made those screens...You also carry yours in a big ass Otterbox as well don't you? I am a caseless guy and the thing to protect with no case is the screen. I've never used a screen protector before either as they look like shit. The glass ones however don't and will solve my biggest concern. I use to rock the Otterbox. I gave up on them a few years ago when I kept breaking the cases and clips. Yes, it is a rugged Kyocera Brigadier so that sure helps on the no case front, but I'm not easy on phones. I didn't have a screen protector on my last two? phones before this and never ran into a scratching problem on the screen, the wife and brother have a Droid Turbo with no screen protector and hasn't caused any scratches yet. I know gorilla/sapphire/etc screens aren't unbreakable but won't a glass screen protector shatter right along with the regular screen in an event that it breaks? I've never used a screen protector either. I've also never scratched a screen....but I did break a screen for the first time a month ago or so. Just leaned on something with my phone and keys in my pocket. A screen protector would have saved that wear for sure.A mild blow it would also save IF it were a glass one. A sacrificial surface in my mind if it doesn't change clarity and feel is absolutely not a bad idea. If it does, well then fuck it I gamble. I have a glass screen protector on my Moto G. It's scratched and I'm planning to change it. Bought my girlfriend the same phone and installed the screen protectors at the same time. Hers is cracked in a corner. Better have the screen protector crack instead of the actual screen.
June 1, 201510 yr On a happier note I booked a flight in the fall for the W and I to go to Paris for a week. Nice !
June 1, 201510 yr I have lost almost 15 pounds in less than a month..I don't see how..I eat about 4 full meals a day "no joke" and snacks all day at work..Plus I drink a lot of non-light beer. Did you think that maybe your lifestyle does that to you? Little sleep, lots of alcohol...
