Most of my pictures are shot below 70mm which means the 17-55 would be an ideal "most of the time lens". I'd sell my 18-270 and then get a 70-200 of some type to mate with it.

Would leave me with:

11-16 2.8, 17-55 2.8 IS, 50 1.4, 70-200 ??

Bought some more plane tickets for the September trip. Turns out it's cheaper to fly Berlin -> London, spend a night wandering in London, then London -> Eindhoven and then Eindhoven -> Amsterdam by train than going by train Berlin -> Amsterdam. 

 

Looks like I'll spend my birthday in 2 major european capitals. 3 if I stretch my birthday on the 7th

I was going out pretty often, but it got hot and my class is at night so I don't get up early.

You get use to it. Last summer I'd ride the dirt bike in the afternoon in all my gear in 105F+, and it didn't bother me. This summer I haven't ridden much, so it's brutal if I get out.

Definitely going to get a bigger SD card and spare battery. 5 days in Berlin (job related) then 1 day and night in London and 4 days in Amsterdam as vacation.
