Last night he was 102 and sweaty as shit. Some motrin and it went down, but he is obviously not comfy. Sounds like he needs to snuggle with dad.
September 2, 201312 yr I think I had a pair before him.... But mine were just the polycarbonate ones. Great for the bike with the visor up. Eyes protected and glare free. My new helmet has polarized visors and mixing 2 polarized lenses is BAD on a bike. Found that out fast.ie, glacier glasses lol
September 2, 201312 yr Although I'd play with the bronze an HT because I am a bit surprised you bought the HT. Obviously eeryone's eyes are different.

Generally speaking I see no value in the grey nor HT, although there are other lenses I'd buy. These HTs are supposedly lighter than the normal HT. That means I can wear them later and still see, but I am not dazzled by glare or headlights at dusk or dawn. I can also use them if I'm running into a gas station and not need to take them off.It is migraine prevention and mitigation. I went outside with all 3 and the bronze were the best, but the HT were second best and brighter. The HT golf ones really picked up contrast but destroyed glare.

September 2, 201312 yr Maybe I will be able to take back the HRs and get them in bronze or gray for ultra sunny days. The wrap frame does such a good job at blocking light around my eyes I bet the bronze will be dark enough.

September 2, 201312 yr Maybe that is what I need! My head is a little better but I cannot sleep. Stomach isn't churning anymore either.

The wrap frame does such a good job at blocking light around my eyes I bet the bronze will be dark enough.Oddly enough, that's why I have stayed with Oakley. I get em decently cheap and they block the sun out on the sides VERY well. With a big ass noggin like mine its not easy to find shades that fit well.J
September 2, 201312 yr Since we are on topic. If I am to look for sunglasses, what advice would you guys give me? I know NOTHING about the subject.I most likely won't find the brands you guys have in the US and most likely won't be willing to pay for a good set (for the moment). I want to drive my car with them, ride the bicycle, take a walk midday. I would most likely wear them even in conversations since I don't like for people to see where I look. What glass, what frame, etc?

Of course an opinion, but I've tried them since and can't stand them.

September 2, 201312 yr 3M makes some near disposable priced polycarbonate work shades. You could check on line Teo.

September 2, 201312 yr Speaking of optics. The Canon 70d is now in stock. I wonder how long I have to wait for the second build...or if I should say fuck it and just buy it now.

Of course an opinion, but I've tried them since and can't stand them. They fit my fat head a bit better. Other than that they are not even in the same game. Maui Jim is a real good lens company first, who specialize in good polarization. But the optical clarity is second to none and even the "cheep" polycarbonate rimless ones with nylon bows are a big upgrade from the Oakley product. I wanted to like Oakley for fit and price, but the Jims are just miles and miles ahead.

September 2, 201312 yr I loved Oakley's in 1988. IMO their styling has faltered miserably since. Surely doesn't help my opinion. Of course I have the opposite of a fat head. I do wear a 7 15/16 hat, but my head ain't fat and my eyes are uber close together.
