I have a friend looking to dump this amp and I want to buy it from him. Can anybody tell me what a good condition ORIGINAL 1000/1(NOT V2) goes for? I don't really have a use for it but need to get a better idea of a ball park price. I may just turn around and sell as I don't have a vehicle I can really do an install on currently. Any help is greatly appreciated!

225 would be max I'd pay depends on condition too...

I disagree. A new JL 750 is $500. A used 1000/1 is worth more than half of a new...

Until you hit > $200 you are in budget amp territory. Anyone who chooses a new budget amp over a used quality one is confused.

$275 is where I'd start.

If I had the need I'd much rather pay $300 for a used JL 1000/1v1 than a new HiFonics- which is a really good budget amp.

I am trying to procure it for alot less than that. It has been installed but not used in his truck for years now. We will see how it goes, thanks everybody for your best guesses
