Posted February 7, 201312 yr Popular Post Please contact Josh at http://www.facebook.com/#!/josh.w.hart or http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/449888281732464/ and PLEASE tell him I sent you!He is truely a great guy to deal with. I was sent to him from Duran. He responds very fast, and is easy to deal with. He has just finished up my design for my 18" SSA Evil and really went above and beyond my expectiations. This is not just any ordinary designer who build an enclosure around your limited space. He actually aims for your goals and utilizes your intended goals into every aspect of the enclosure. When you message him, I would suggest to include any additional information that you may think that could help the design process. For example, I told specifically what frequency range I am really concnerned with or what response I am looking for. I told the characteristics of my vehicle, genre of music I listen to, the amount of power utilized, etc! Here are the results of my enclosure.8.3 cuft Nettuned to 33hz128cuin of portPictures!
February 7, 201312 yr Author I should also add that Swift will be building this monster! He too is a great guy to deal with and would HIGHLY recommend him to anybody. For this build I will be utliizing 1" Oak wood adn construction will begin this weekend hopefully. Evil will be here on Monday so stay tune to my build log for updates!
February 7, 201312 yr Nice looking box and you have Lee building it. I am exceited to hear your opinion after all is done and installed.

February 8, 201312 yr Swift, I had no idea you built boxes for others. Do you build boxes only for "friends" or is that something you do on the side? You got skills.
February 10, 201312 yr Box looks good. I wonder if you can share the "Input Parameters" page of the modeling software used. If I'm not mistaken, the software used is Hornresp. What has me intrigued is that Hornresp cannot model multiple ports, yet the sketch-up models of the box show two ports. I'm interested in how the designer was able to derive the dual port design from a software capable only of modeling a single port design. Think you can get him to share his secret?
February 12, 201312 yr Author Quoted from FB**"I just wanted to throw this out there for you guys. This is Senchez enclosure in winisd. You can see where the response peaks out at about 40hz in winisd, and it is a bit different then the response modeled horn resp, but for the most part Horn resp and Winisd agree with each other. You can also see two very slightly different blue curves. The dark blue curve is the enclosure modeled with one vent... at 128 square inches. The tuning comes out to 33.05hz. The light blue line shows two separate vents with a sum of 128 square inches and a tuning of 34.3hz. That is a difference of 1.25hz. I have to consider these things when designing enclosures for people, but for this and many other reasons, I don't like giving people some "exact tuning" frequency down to some hundredths of a decimal. It is absurd to do so."
