well, iv had the 2 sundown sa8v2s in my 4th order box for a couple days.  the one BIG thing i have noticed is i no longer have to open my doors or crack my windows for it to be loud. for instance when i have my f150 with the 2 hcca 15s on a aq3500, with my doors shut, it wasnt very loud.. AT ALL. but as soon as i cracked the windows, they got stupidd loud. with this 4th order box being my center console, they sound the same with windows sealed as they do with windows down. i love it! heres a short video i just shot today.

ps, yes i know the plexi window is very scratched up but it came off a shitty prefab box that casey had. Thanks again casey!

i still dont understand why everyone hates on 4th orders.....

People don't hate on 4th orders.  People hate on idiots who refer to bandpasses 4th orders.  A simple vented enclosure is a 4th order.   Also, the bandpass is pretty pointless as you can accomplish the same goal with a simple 4th order vented enclosure, yet so many people THINK they are awesome and sound so much better and "pound so hard.".  The only time a bandpass would be benficial is if you had no crossover and needed to control response via enclosure.  In essence, the only reasons to use a bandpass enclosure is to "look cool" or if you have no crossover(s).

either way .... looks hott.... doing work!!!

if someone brings a laptop, i'll bring one of our RTAs with me and we'll measure what your cabin gain graph looks like in one sweep in that vehicle at ear level.

That will give you a visualization of what you are hearing.

Keep reminding me so i do not forget to do this for slamology.

and don't be shy either.  Come find us.
