March 8, 201312 yr Unfortunately I coughed up the ~$650 for a DC power alternator before doing my own research. Your thread over on the Malibu forums has good info. Ill be following your build closely, I like your style and attention to detail so far.
March 8, 201312 yr Author Thanks man.....I figure the time I get might as well be a good time.Concentrating on dropping this headliner. If I get the roof outta the way this weekend thatd be great.....now where are my torx bits?.. ..
March 8, 201312 yr Author That will wear ur arms out but I got er did......just puttin it back together I did one base layer and a scattered double. HUGE improvement, no cuts, and no tears in the foil. Few honks of the horn and some tired arms is all I can complain about..lol Excellent to work with. Damp Pro FTW!
March 9, 201312 yr Did you just run your power wire under the headliner? On a crappy phone. If you did I love it.
March 9, 201312 yr Author Well dudes......back to odds and ends. Speaker lead lengths and a techflex order.Send some stuff to Toolmakerz.Seats, console, and carpet will come out when I go to my participating shop guys for enclosure build. While Steve does that I will deaden the floor and get these RCAs ran. Thanks for scopin so far.
March 24, 201312 yr Author Alright the TM list is out and things being done there. This coming weekend is planned for enclosurebuild and floor deadening. I kept on the speaker harnesses tho....that stuff is tiring lol
March 24, 201312 yr Author I came up with a concept for my pods. I wanted something a little better than grommets as my passthrough.Soooooo Im doin something like this...
March 26, 201312 yr Author i saw that you were featured on Shok's facebook. wiring looks good manI wouldnt say "featured" but Ive been working with Russ a long time. Its far greater than a nuthug but he is genuinely a great owner of his stuff. Thanks Im keepin at it lol.
March 26, 201312 yr Author wire looks beautiful .... what is it wrapped/tied with? I think I missed thatIts a lace for the enviromental extremes I guess. Its a mix of fiberglass and Kevlar with a wax coating. High heat handling and age prevention etc.Everything Im doing will meet or exceed any of the formats requirements basically.
March 28, 201312 yr That is some pretty wild stuff, really liking the build. I like the attention to detail for sure.
