I could use a tower to connect to my TV so I dont have to do this from my phone all the time.

I am no guru.....Just music and web but itd be cool to have something custom looking.

If youd trade audio for something youve built or can help me piece something together I could grasp assembling something while guided.

I am a Mac person, so I won't be of much help. I connect a Mac mini to my TV and it works great. Piecing together a capable tower should be very affordable.

Yea Im not even a "person" lol...basically to do stuff I cant on the Xbox.....I dont even watch TV

Mac mini is great to use as a music server. Upgrade the Ram and watch it take off. Add an external hard drive and all the flac,mp3s you can stand. If you want music in other rooms check out the Logitech Squeezebox Touch.

I was gonna recommend AMDs new APU Series, not sure if your still looking though.
