I would much rather bridge the 4 channel for more power than worry about bi-amping.  If you were active I could see an advantage, but with passives the tweeter adjustment will get the balance close enough in most instances and the higher power by bridging (or a higher powered 2-channel) will allow for greater headroom....I'm a fan of mo' powa :)
