Posted March 11, 201312 yr Sobim upgrading the headunit and all 4 speakers on the wifes silverado...my question is if i should buy the foam baffle or not? What is the point of it besides water protection? Also if the head unit says that the impendance range is 4-8ohms but the speakers i bought are 2 ohms will they fry? Or am i ok?
March 11, 201312 yr usually door speakers are 4 ohm or higher. Could you list the product number for the doors so we can take a look at them. Also the headunit as well. I would get the foam baffle. It helps with the rattle and such.
