Posted March 31, 201312 yr I have a 1999 Dodge durango with the infiniti speaker system. I just put kicker components in the doors. I'm wanting to install a four channel up in the next day or so. My question is should i remove the infiniti amp up in the kick panel or just leave it? Thanks Guys!
March 31, 201312 yr at the very least I would disconnect the harness's going to the amplifier, but weather you remove it or not is up to you. Leaving it there without being connected to anything won't hurt anything.
March 31, 201312 yr does leaving connected effect anything?I'm not 100% sure but I'd imagine it would draw power, maybe not a lot, but I would think it would draw something. Someone else here might be able to better answer that one. Just personally if I was going to leave it and not use it I'd disconnect it.
