April 17, 201312 yr Author Colorado or KentuckyWhy use a scope to set gains anyway?ky, and to be sure im not clipping
April 17, 201312 yr Author Do you have ears, eyes, and a sense of smell? rather be safe and acurate then sorry
April 17, 201312 yr The thing is music is so dynamic and at different peak levels. Some songs clip to begin with.Yes you can set it with a tone and a reference level but that doesn't guarantee anything on music. If you want to do it at a high peak then sure but that usually leaves a lot on the table.I'm willing to help but just want you to realize a scope isn't the end all be all of setting gains.Only exception would be if you are competing in a burp class and only playing a tone. And rick you forgot taste. I can usually taste a coil getting hot before you can smell it. Lol
