That's actually a really good price on the Rogue 66, but I've found a place that's selling an Audio Research LS1 with the black faceplate in almost mint condition for a price I can afford.

I may be interested in a new CD player...will hold me over until I get the SL-1200, anyway.

Arcam Alpha 8SE, upgradeable to 9SE if you want (I think the new DAC board is like $250). I'm the 2nd owner, not a scratch on the thing. Remote is missing a button... maybe he had a cat chew it off? Original box and manual.

Well, with the damage the new preamp and power conditioning stuff is going to do to my checkbook, need to see if I can fit this in as well Or just go with an el-cheapo CDP for now.
